These terms govern your use of PhoneSync ("the app"), developed and operated by Halders, an individual developer, as a personal project. By installing or using PhoneSync, you agree to these terms.

What PhoneSync does

PhoneSync pairs two Android devices you designate as Sender and Receiver, and mirrors SMS messages and call activity between them once you set up a connection.

Acceptable use — consent required

PhoneSync is built for syncing devices you own, or devices whose owner has given you explicit, informed consent to mirror. You may not use PhoneSync to monitor, intercept, or forward another person's messages or calls without their knowledge and consent. Doing so may violate wiretapping, interception, or privacy laws in your jurisdiction, and is a violation of these terms. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of PhoneSync is lawful where you use it.

Your account

PhoneSync uses Google Sign-In; there is no separate PhoneSync password. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure, since access to it grants access to your PhoneSync data and connections.

Service availability

PhoneSync is provided as a personal, independently operated project. Features, availability, and this service may change or be discontinued at any time, with or without notice.

No warranty

PhoneSync is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted, error-free operation. Message and call delivery depend on third-party infrastructure (your carrier, Google Firebase) that is outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Halders is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, PhoneSync, including missed messages or calls.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the update will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of PhoneSync after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

You may stop using PhoneSync and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates these terms, including the consent requirement above.
